Welcome to Outlier Design Studio! These terms and conditions govern your use of our services, including website redesign and our Shopify design and development subscription. By engaging with Outlier Design Studio, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing or subscribing to any services from Outlier Design Studio, you agree to these terms and conditions, which will apply to all services provided by the studio.
2. Service Descriptions
- Website Redesign: This service includes a comprehensive redesign of your website based on the agreed scope, which will be outlined in your individual contract.
- Shopify Design and Development Subscription: This service offers ongoing design and development support for Shopify websites. The specific details of the subscription plan, including services, payment terms, and subscription duration, will be outlined in your subscription agreement.
3. Project Initiation
For all services, clients must provide the necessary information, including branding assets and design preferences, for the project to commence. Delays in providing this information may result in project delays.
4. Payment Terms
- Website Redesign: Payment terms for redesign projects will be agreed upon before the project begins, with payments made in installments or a lump sum.
- Shopify Subscription: Subscription fees are billed on a monthly basis. Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension or termination of services.
5. Revisions and Changes
- Website Redesign: Two rounds of revisions are included in the website redesign package. Additional revisions will incur extra fees.
- Shopify Subscription: Your subscription includes an unlimited number of design and development tasks, as long as they fall within the scope of the subscription plan.
6. Intellectual Property
The client owns the intellectual property rights to the final design, excluding any third-party elements. Outlier Design Studio retains the right to showcase the completed work in its portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat all confidential information exchanged during the service period as confidential. Outlier Design Studio will not share any client-provided information with third parties.
8. Termination of Services
- Website Redesign: Either party may terminate the project at any time. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment for services rendered up to the termination date.
- Shopify Subscription: Either party may terminate the subscription. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment of services rendered up to the termination date, including any outstanding fees.
9. Refund Policy
- Website Redesign: Refunds for the website redesign service are not available once work has begun. If the client decides to cancel before work starts, a partial refund may be considered, depending on the time and resources already allocated.
- Shopify Subscription: Refunds for the subscription service are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Requests for refunds during the first month may result in a 25% fee on the remaining billable period. In such cases, ownership of materials produced remains with Outlier Design Studio.
10. Pausing Subscription Services
Clients may request to pause their Shopify subscription for a maximum of 8 days within a 12-month period. Any remaining days in the month will carry over upon reactivation.
11. Limitation of Liability
Outlier Design Studio’s liability for any claims related to our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the respective service. Outlier Design Studio is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
